Who we are

Michael Franklin is the owner and head trainer of Top Dog K-9 Academy in Houston. Mike has been involved with dog training for many years, having trained or been a consultant for Riechenbach German Shepards, the Tennessee State Highway Patrol, the Precinct 4 Constable's Office, the Aldine Police Department, and many others. He is a member of the United States Police Canine Association and is the Director of All Pets Home Care. Mike has served a 1 year term as President of the Greater Humble Area Kennel Club, an 18 month term as Chairman of Obedience for the Greater Humble Area Kennel Club, a 1 year term as President of the Lone Star Fanciers Kennel Club, and an 18 month term as Chairman of Obedience of the Lone Star Fanciers Kennel Club. He is the former director of training for Heidelberg German Shepards, Keller Kennels, and Sea Dog Inn Kennels.
